Coordination & Dual-Task Session

Combines coordination drills with cognitive-motor dual-tasking, which trains the divided-attention demands of real-life falls. Use a clear, familiar space.

    Coordinate opposite arm and knee.

    Hand to opposite knee; support if unsteady.

    Ball Toss Against Wall
    30 catches x 2
    Track the ball; vary height.

    Square-Stepping Pattern
    2-3 patterns
    Clear mat; support nearby for older adults.

    Dual-Task Walking
    2-3 min continuous
    Add a counting/naming task; slow if either falters.

    Dual-Task Standing Balance
    30s x 2 per side
    Tandem stance plus mental task; support within reach.
