What this is

Wellness Routines is a wellness library and weekly routine builder in which every recommendation is tied to the research behind it. Each entry carries a letter grade for how strong that research is, and the studies behind the grade are listed with resolving DOI links, so a claim can be checked rather than taken on trust.

The library covers eight dimensions of wellness across 14 focus areas. Physical content is the most complete: it has been through a full review set. The other dimensions are labelled where their evidence base is still partial, and they are upgraded in place as further reviews are completed.

Why grades are on the surface

Most wellness advice arrives without any indication of how well it is evidenced, which leaves the reader unable to tell a well-replicated finding from a single small trial. Putting the grade next to the claim, and the studies one tap behind it, is a way of handing that judgment back.

A grade is confidence in the evidence for one specific claim. It is not a rating of the activity, and a high grade is not an instruction. See Methodology for how grades are assigned and which kinds of source are allowed to appear as a citation.

Wellness literacy

The second half of the product is teaching the skill itself: how to find, read, appraise and apply health information. The Learn section covers that directly, so the useful outcome is being able to judge any claim, not only the ones published here.

What this app does not do

It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or personalise medically. It recommends safe, general, evidence-based practices, and it names the point at which a question stops being a wellness question and becomes one for a professional.

Entries state their own limits: population cautions, referral triggers, and an explicit list of what the entry will not claim. Those limits are part of the content, not a disclaimer bolted on afterwards.

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States, or 911 for emergencies.

Who publishes it

Wellness Routines is published by Wellness Literacy Co, LLC (dba Applied Wellness). The same library serves several audiences, including individuals, colleges, employers and fitness facilities. The content and grading are identical across them; only the framing changes.

This is a beta. Content is versioned and corrections are made in place. If you find an error in a claim, a grade or a citation, please report it.
