Wellness Routines

Privacy

Your plan lives in your own browser. There is no account, nothing about you is stored on a server, and nothing you do here is sent to a third-party analytics service.

Where your plan is stored

Everything you build here, the sessions on your week, their days and times, their lengths, your standing commitments, what you have marked done, and your filter settings, is saved in your browser’s localStorage on the device you are using. It is written by the page you are looking at and read back by the same page. It is not transmitted anywhere.

This has consequences worth knowing before you rely on it. Your plan does not follow you to another device or another browser. Clearing your browser’s site data, or using private browsing and closing it, deletes the plan and it cannot be recovered, by you or by us, because no copy exists.

No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for and no way to sign in. The app never asks for your name, your email address, your date of birth, or any health information about you, and it has nowhere to put them if it did.

Because there is no account, there is no profile, no history held about you, and no data to sell, share or lose. There is also nobody to email you.

No personal data on the server

The server’s job is to send you pages and library content. The library, the entries, grades, doses and citations, is the same for everyone and contains nothing about you. No routine you build, no answer you give in the builder, and no session you complete is stored server-side.

No third-party analytics on your behaviour

There is no third-party analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking on this app. No product analytics service, session recorder, advertising pixel, social plugin or tracking script runs on these pages, and nothing you click, plan or complete is sent to an outside service.

The hosting provider keeps ordinary technical logs for the requests that serve these pages, of the kind every web server keeps: the requested page, a timestamp, and network-level information such as an IP address. Those logs are operational, they are not joined to anything you plan here, and there is nothing to join them to.

Cookies

This app sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Your plan uses localStorage rather than cookies, and localStorage is not sent with requests the way a cookie is.

Links out to research

Every citation links to the study’s DOI, which resolves at doi.org and then at the publisher. Following one leaves this app, and the site you land on has its own privacy practices. Those links are the audit trail, so they are deliberately real and external rather than proxied through us.

Deleting your data

Because your plan is only in your browser, you delete it yourself: clear this site’s data in your browser settings, or use your browser’s option to clear site data for this site. There is no request to make and no confirmation to wait for.

If this changes

Accounts and institutional sign-in are planned, so that a plan can follow you between devices and a college can offer this to its students. That would mean storing plan data on a server, and it is a different privacy position from the one described here. It will be described on this page, with its date, before any such feature is turned on. This page will not quietly come to mean something else.
