Tai Chi is among the best-supported fall-prevention practices: multiple meta-analyses show improved balance and reduced falls and fear of falling in older adults. A beginner program of 2–3 weekly sessions over several months, learning a short form and practicing weight shifts and single-leg stances, delivers these benefits with very low impact.
