Beginners enjoy the fastest, largest returns in strength and function because so much adaptation is available early and much of it is neural. A simple full-body routine of basic compound movements, done 2-3 times a week with gradual progression, is enough - novices do not need high volume, advanced periodization or exotic techniques. The priorities are learning safe technique, showing up consistently, and nudging load or reps upward as movements become easy.
