This program targets ankle proprioception and control through single-leg balance, wobble/disc work, and controlled hopping/landing drills. Evidence shows proprioceptive and neuromuscular training improves balance and reduces recurrent ankle sprains in at-risk people. It suits athletes and active adults, and those recovering from ankle instability (progressed carefully).

This is the evidence-based dose. A shorter session still counts, it just gives partial benefit rather than the full effect.
Common misconceptions
- 'Once a sprain heals you're fine' (proprioception often stays impaired and needs retraining)
- 'Taping alone protects the ankle' (neuromuscular training addresses the underlying control)

- Not a substitute for medical evaluation of dizziness, syncope, or unexplained falls
