Balance-Skill Circuit (Healthy Adults & Athletes)

A progressive circuit of static, dynamic, and unstable-surface stations to build balance in healthy adults and athletes.

This circuit rotates through static holds, dynamic reaches and steps, and unstable-surface stations to broadly challenge balance, and effects are partly specific to the tasks trained, so it deliberately varies conditions. The evidence base for balance training is strong in community-dwelling older adults and comparatively thin in healthy younger adults and athletes, so for this population the circuit is a reasonable transfer of an established principle rather than a directly evidenced prescription.
