Emerging Grade-A work (Warneke and colleagues) tests very long-duration stretching for combined ROM and small strength or hypertrophy effects. The doses are long and demanding, and benefits beyond ROM are modest and debated. Offered as an experimental option, resistance training remains the efficient path to strength.
