Hold Duration & the ROM Dose-Response

Longer total stretch time per muscle yields more ROM, up to a point.

Grade-A dose-response work indicates greater total stretching duration per muscle produces larger flexibility gains, with roughly 30–60 s holds being efficient and total weekly time mattering most. Very long single holds add little for general users and can acutely reduce force. The practical lever is accumulated time, not any single heroic stretch.
