Common misconceptions
  • 'You must eat protein within 30 minutes of exercise.' Total daily protein matters far more.
  • 'Only shakes deliver enough protein.' Whole foods work well for most people.
  • 'High protein harms healthy kidneys.' No clear harm in healthy adults at moderate-high intakes.
